The texts of the stories are adapted for educational purposes to the Pre-Intermediate level and are accompanied by commentary, as well as tasks for practicing and consolidating skills in grammar and vocabulary. An English-Russian dictionary is provided at the end of the manual. The book is addressed to students in grades 7-8 of schools, lyceums and gymnasiums and to all those studying English.
