Just So Stories (Palmyra Classics)

"Just Stories" (1902) is a collection of stories by the English writer Rudyard Kipling, in which he explains how and why some animals have special body parts, distinctive features or abilities: where the camel got its hump, how the leopard got its spots, and how the kangaroo began to jump... The collection was preceded by the story "How Fear Came" from The Second Jungle Book (1895), in which Mowgli learns where the tiger got his stripes. Unadapted English-language edition.
