Red Fox (Palmyra Classics)

"Red Fox" is a novel by Canadian writer Charles Roberts, telling about the adventures of an intelligent, curious and courageous fox, who grows up and learns to survive, meeting other animals and Man. Roberts is a naturalist, in the preface he notes that, although his hero has outstanding intelligence and strength, this often happens in a litter of foxes: one of them is bigger, stronger, adapts faster than the others - and all the events described by the author have already happened or could well have happened to one of the red foxes. With incredible authenticity, Roberts depicts fox habits, introducing the reader to the amazing world of Canadian wildlife. Unadapted edition in English.
