The Oak tree

Watch a thousand years unfold in the life of one magnificent tree . . . A tiny acorn grows . . . and GROWS into an enormous oak tree! The world around it changes. People and animals come and go. Finally, after a thousand extraordinary years, the ancient tree falls in a storm – and a new acorn sprouts, beginning the cycle of life all over again. Julia Donaldson's rich, dramatic rhyme brilliantly celebrates the people and creatures whose lives are touched by this one remarkable tree. The story is brought gorgeously to life by Victoria Sandøy, acclaimed illustrator of The Christmas Pine .
